DiDomenico also named Chair of Bills in Third Reading and Vice Chair of Education

BOSTON – Last week, Senator Sal DiDomenico was appointed, once again, to Senate President Karen Spilka’s leadership team as Assistant Majority Leader. This will mark the third consecutive legislative session that Senator DiDomenico will serve in that leadership position.

DiDomenico was also appointed Chair of the Bills in Third Reading Committee, Vice Chair of the Education Committee, and member of the Labor and Workforce Development Committee, Steering and Policy Committee, Intergovernmental Affairs Committee, Personnel and Administration Committee, and State Administration and Regulatory Oversight Committee.

BOSTON - Senator Sal DiDomenico hosted Chelsea youth at the State House who are working with La Colaborativa to advocate for legislation that would expand access to housing and provide a pipeline to vocational schools. Senator DiDomenico was inspired by the group’s passion and energy, “our young people are working hard to get results for families across our communities and throughout the Commonwealth. Their families and our district should be extremely proud, and I thank them for their passion to make lives better for everyone.”

BOSTON - Senator Sal DiDomenico hosted Everett High School student Sushant Shrestha, Sushant’s father, and his art teacher, Cari DiCicco, in his State House office. DiDomenico recently purchased Sushant's artwork at a silent auction held at the high school and told him that they would hang it in his office. The group had a great time touring the Senate Chamber and the State House. Now, everyone who visits Senator DiDomenico’s office will be able to see Sushant's amazing, pigmented charcoal drawing.
